Certified copies of documents relating to land ownership in or near Qerétaro. Contains a collection of land grants, deeds of purchase and sale, decrees, petitions, declarations, appointments, certifications, and other documents relating to distribution and ownership of lands in the vicinity of the Amoladeras and Albercas valleys. Deals primarily with possessions of the Galván family and those of the Jesuit college in Tepozotlán. Quotes royal decrees of 1591 as background documents, and contains viceregal grants of Luis Velasco the Younger, the Marqués de Guadalcázar, and the Conde de Salvatierra; with list of early grants prefixed.
